Consulting, Design and Installation
We assist clients in choosing appropriate lighting installations for worship spaces. In this, a consultant may help with lighting equipment and controls selection, instrument placement, and recommend installation techniques. INITIAL STAGE – free on-site consultation
The Initial Stage is a 30-minute consultation at the location of your choice. Our goal is to gain insight to your project and propose an approach towards the solution. We can also discuss a budget.
STAGE 1 – consultation
The first stage is to discuss your concept, generate ideas, and come up with a rough design. None of these decisions have to be final as this is the brainstorming stage. Budgetary considerations will be discussed. The purpose of this meeting is to determine if we mutually agree that there is a basis for us to continue working together on the project. There is no pressure to commit. However, in order to proceed to stage two, an agreement needs to be signed and a deposit rendered.
STAGE 2 – design briefing
In this stage of the process, we will develop a client brief based on the consultation.
STAGE 3 – concept design
Working from the client brief, a brilliant company will prepare conceptual lighting ideas to form the Concept Design including preliminary budgets.
STAGE 4 – design development
Once the Concept Design has been agreed, the Design Development expands on the conceptual ideas to develop a buildable design and to test if the design can be achieved within the budget.
STAGE 5 – technical design
The Technical Design focuses on engineering the design into a realistic lighting scheme, which meets the requirements of the brief, whilst adhering to the relevant standards & best practice guidance. The Technical Design process involves the specification of lighting equipment and detailing of the lighting design by way of CAD drawings & design details to enable construction, wiring and installation.
STAGE 6 – installation
Where necessary, permits will be procured, and labor contracted. a brilliant company will communicate a workable calendar for deliverables to the client. The systems will be programmed and tested to ensure they meet our specifications and that of the client brief.
STAGE 7 – completion
After testing of all systems under all conditions, and after our installation team is satisfied, a brilliant company will provide training to the client’s team so they may use the systems effectively.
